NOTES
• Designed for carbureted Holden 253 and 308 V8 applications produced from 1969 onward.
• The 253 was available from 1969–1984 (carbureted); the 308 was available from 1969 onward in carbureted form through the VL Commodore (1987).
• The 304 is a destroked variant of the 308 introduced in 1985 for motorsport homologation — verify fitment before ordering on 304 applications.
• Ready-to-run design — no separate ignition box required.
• Requires an external coil with a minimum output of 35,000V — no separate ignition box required.
• Not compatible with Chevrolet 307, 327, or 350 V8 engines that were optionally used in early Holden HK, HT, and HG models — those are American small block engines requiring a different distributor.
